The court hearing on the criminal case of former MP Huseyn Abdullayev, his mother Zeynab Abdullayeva, Habib Ibrahimov, Khalid Aliyev, Namig Babayev, Intigam Suleymanov, Parviz Kazimov, Zaur Guliyev and Nazim Aliyev did not take place in the Baku Military Court.
Judge Habib Hasanov presided over the hearing that the defendants were not brought to trial.
The trial was postponed until August 21.
It should be noted that in the previous proceedings the criminal investigation was completed and the prosecutor asked for time to speak.
According to official information, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of separate citizens based on the petitions filed by the Office for Combating Organized Crime on the basis of the 14 February 2018 criminal case filed by "Araz-İnşaat" OJSC, which actually supervised H.Abdullayev during the period from 2006 to 2018, Babayev Namiq Iskhanhan oghlu and others who have been engaged in business management, leasing public property to different companies at different times and collecting 1 million 374 thousand manats in total for the utilization of public utility and other expenses of the Company suspicion of fraudulent possession of 13 thousand 373 manats with a single intentional fraud by causing significant damage to the victims.
Some of the accused are employees of the State Border Service. Therefore, the criminal case was sent to the Military Court of Baku.
As a victim of the case 28 persons are recognized.
Recall that the house arrest was a measure of restraint against Z.Abdullayeva, H.Ibrahimov, Z.Quliyev and P.Kazimov, who were charged under the case.
